About Michelle

Meet the Creator of kettlenetics

With kettlenetics Slim & Tone, you get the unique opportunity to learn from one of America’s leading kettlebell experts and coaches - Michelle Khai. Michelle is the Chief Science Officer and Master Instructor at Kettlebell Concepts, an organization dedicated to the study and teaching of this powerful, body-changing tool.

Michelle’s fitness background began in the competitive world of dance. She began her career on scholarship at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center in New York, and performed professionally on stage and screen. Today, she has transformed her love of dance into a focus on performance enhancement for dancers and other artists.

Michelle realized the need for a serious mind/body strengthening program, so she developed the Creative Mover Conditioning program. She was immediately successful with this innovative, powerful, performance-enhancing program. In fact, after working with New York City Ballet Principal Jock Soto, he was so impressed with the benefits from Michelle’s program that he is now the spokesperson for Creative Mover Conditioning.

Jock and Michelle continue to collaborate - she’s serving as the Fitness Consultant on Jock’s television series, “Jock Ballet.” Michelle has been featured on the Lifetime Network’s “Real Women” for her groundbreaking work with dancers, and is directing strength training and injury prevention research using the kBell with the Miami City Ballet.

As a scientist and researcher, Michelle has helped to deepen the fitness world’s understanding of the phenomenal impact of work with the kBell. She served as lead researcher in the first American clinical study on kettlebells, which was presented at the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s National Conference in 2004.
